David A. Carney, 79, passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2024. Born in Fort Wayne, Indiana David was the son of the late Carl and Laura (Price) Carney. David graduated from Central High School. During his working years, David loved his job as a body man with Dan T. Gratz Body Shop where he spent over 40 years working on cars. He enjoyed fishing and being on his home computer. Surviving are his wife of 48 years, Bonita "Bonnie" Carney; step-children, Cindy (Larry) Betz, Jennifer Spencer, Millie (Tony) Bradtmueller, David Spencer; 4 step grandchildren; and 2 step great-grandchildren. David was preceded in death by his sister, Betty Pursifull. A celebration of David's Life will be at a later date. FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services is handling arrangements.
