Darlene C. Amstutz, age 89, entered into eternal life on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 in Fort Wayne. She was born in Fort Wayne, to the late Max and Clara Rapp. Darlene retired from North American Van Lines as an administrative assistant and worked at Snider High School in the cafeteria. She was a member of Covenant United Methodist Church. Joy in Darlene's life came from her faith, spending time wih family and friends, and her love of dogs. She is survived by her sons, Kim (Sue) Springer of Auburn, IN and Tim (Jeanne) Springer of Georgetown, TX; grandsons, Trevor (Shelby) Springer and Tyler Springer both of Dallas, TX; and step-children, John (Missy) Amstutz and Kaley Mayes. Darlene was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Amstutz; four sisters; and one brother. Service is 10:30 am, Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at Fairhaven Funeral Home, 6557 N. Clinton St. with calling one-hour prior. Calling also 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm on Monday, October 17, 2022 at the funeral home. Burial in Leo Memorial Cemetery, Leo, Indiana.
