Darell L Parker, age 79 passed away on Thursday, May 4, 2023 at his home in Fort Wayne, IN surrounded by family. He was born on February 4, 1944 in Dayton, OH to the late Kenneth and Geraldine Parker. Darell worked at BF Goodrich for 43 years as a forklift operator, retiring in 2006. Darell enjoyed woodworking, shooting pool, playing candy crush and spending time with family and friends. He was an avid White Sox fan!

He is survived by his wife Barbara Parker of 23 years; sister Beverly Blanchard of Fort Wayne; daughter Tammy (Gerald) King of Auburn; step daughters Stephanie Kerschner of Columbia City and Stacy (Mark) Butler of Fort Wayne; 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Darell is proceeded in death by his brother Don Parker and sister Carolyn Balyeat.

Service is 3:00 pm, Friday, May 12 with calling 1 hour prior beginning at 2:00 pm at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N Clinton St. Memorials can be made to the American Heart Association. There will be no grave side service. Darell will be laid to rest in Parker Cemetery.
