Danny Alan Ellis, age 78, passed away Sunday, September 11, 2022 in Fort Wayne. He was born in Fort Wayne to the late Jesse and Lois Isabel Ellis. Danny worked at GE for over 33 years and was a member of the Trinity Church of the Nazarene. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Shirley Ellis of Fort Wayne; children, Veira (Tim) Hendrickson of Fort Wayne, Ben (Reva) Ellis of Fort Wayne, and Sonya (Kyle) Ellis-Dunn of Rochester, NY; three grandchildren, Cheyanne, Brandon, and Hailey; sisters, Sandra (Henk) Moonen and Vicki Himes; and sister-in-law, Tina Ellis. Danny was also preceded in death by his brother, Ron Ellis. A private graveside service is Lindenwood Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Fort Wayne Rescue Mission.
