Daniel J. "Dan" Snyder, 60, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 16, 2022. Born in Huntington, Indiana, Dan was a son of the late Ralph and Mary Snyder. Dan graduated from Huntington North High School, attending Indiana State, and went to Brown Mackie College. He worked for Franke Plating for 30 years, prior to his retirement. Dan enjoyed fishing, watching the St. Louis Cardinals, Indianapolis Colts, and listening to classic rock and country music. His number one priority in life was his family. Surviving are his wife of 38 years, Kristine Snyder; children, Kristopher Snyder, Kyle Snyder, Kasey (Brittany) Snyder, Kimberly (Adam) Ferguson, Kellye (Alex) Root, Kody Snyder, KoriAnne Snyder, Kade Snyder, Kameron Snyder; 12 grandchildren; siblings, Mary Lou Snyder, Louie (Sharon) Snyder, Steve (Pam) Snyder, and Joan (Jim) Abbott. Dan was preceded in death by his siblings, William, Ron, and Carol. Service is 11 am, Thursday, February 24, 2022 at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton Street, with calling one hour prior. Calling also on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 from 4 pm to 8 pm at the funeral home. Burial in Highland Park Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
