Daniel Paul Roth, 81 of Fort Wayne, IN passed away on May 12, 2025 with his family by his side.

Born on July 28, 1943 in Fort Wayne to Magdalen A. (Hoffelder) and Paul J. Roth, Dan was the firstborn of seven children. Dan graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1961 and went on to obtain his Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering in 1967 from Indiana Tech and then his Masters from Purdue Fort Wayne. Dan then applied that knowledge at a lifelong career at Magnavox/Raytheon. Dan achieved top secret clearance during his tenure and his family still has no idea what he really did at work.

Dan eventually retired and pursued his lifelong hobbies of ham radio under call sign N9NO, photography and attempting to fly model airplanes, which never seemed to like to stay in the air. He also enjoyed yardwork and going to their lake cottage on Sylvan Lake.

Dan leaves behind the love of his life, Vicki J (Meeks) Roth, the spirit of his humor in daughter Kathy (Ted) Current, and grandsons Aden Daniel and Vinnie Current. Also surviving are brothers Sam (Pam) Roth, Ken (Sandy) Roth, Ron (Nancy) Roth, sisters Annette (Ed) Richardson, Marilyn (Darrell) Post, and Patty (Mel) Grabner, brother in law Kerry (Cinda) Meeks and many nieces and nephews and extended family.
