Daniel Joseph "Dan" Hoffman, 74, peacefully left this earth to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, September 26, 2023. Born in Van Wert, Ohio, Dan was the only child of Daniel and Betty (Young) Hoffman. He graduated from Concordia Lutheran High School in 1967 and received his associates in business from IPFW. Dan worked for North American Van Lines for 11 years prior to being a dispatcher for Triple Crown Services for many years prior to his retirement. During his life, Dan enjoyed being at the lake, fishing, bowling, music, and playing table tennis. Dan enjoyed spending time with his family and grandkids. He was a past member of Emmaus Lutheran Church and a current member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church. Surviving are his daughters, Lisa (Nick) Terrell, Danielle Hoffman; grandchildren, Haley, Kinley, and Ethan. A Memorial Service will be 11 am, Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 917 W. Jefferson Blvd., with calling one hour prior. Calling also on Monday, October 2, 2023 from 4 pm to 7 pm at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton Street. Memorials may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children or Emmanuel Lutheran Church for the "In all Generations" School renovation fund.
