Daniel G. Bandor, age 84, passed away on Saturday, January 8th, 2022. He was the youngest child of the late Michael and Bessie [Bolin] Bandor. He proudly served an enlistment in the US Navy and had a long career in the Fort Wayne Police Department before retiring in 2005 with 33 years of service. He is survived by his wife of 57 years Nola (Roberson) Bandor; sons Joe (Julie) Bandor of Fort Wayne, Michael (Dawn) Bandor; two grandchildren, Daniel Bandor and Hope (Liam) Murphy; two great grandchildren, Eli & Lucy Murphy all of San Antonio, TX; two brothers, Frank Bandor and Randy (Jan) Bandor; and sister-in-law Carole (Peters) Bandor all of Fort Wayne; and brother-in-law Rudy Soltesz of Melbourne, FL. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, five sisters and two nephews. Service is 3 pm, Saturday, January 15, 2022 at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton Street, with calling from 1 pm until the service. Masks are required.
