Danielle "Dani" Zahm, 61, passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2024. Born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, on April 26, 1963, Dani was the fifth child and third daughter of the late Eldon and Patti (Hiser) Zahm. Dani graduated from Northrop High School and attended IPFW. During her working years, Dani was an Administrative Secretary for Raytheon. Dani adored nature and loved feeding her outside birds. She cared for her precious rescue cat along with the various neighborhood wildlife that visited her. As nature's caregiver, she cherished every moment of it. She enjoyed movies and was passionate about rooting for the Baltimore Ravens and Los Angeles Lakers. Dani was proud of being a Democrat and stayed current on politics, local and national. She was well-versed when giving her straight-to-the-point opinion. Dani was a loyal, funny, kind-hearted good friend and will be missed by those who loved her.
Surviving are her siblings, brothers - Richard E. (Jonna) Zahm II, Rock L. Zahm, sisters - Michelle "Mike" (David) Judd, Richelle Renee (Neil) Fenstermaker, Dina D. Zahm; and special loving and lifetime friend, Larry Koontz; along with many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews of whom she was very proud and dearly loved. A Graveside Service will be 2 pm, Friday, May 17, 2024 at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 6750 Covington Road Fort Wayne, Indiana. Memorials may be made to Humane Fort Wayne and The Rescue Mission.
