Dan Alford, 70, passed away Saturday, June 19, 2021 at his home in Roanoke, IN surrounded by his family. He was born in Murfreesboro, AK to the late James Alford and Francis Alford, who survives, of Markle, IN. Dan was the owner and operator of his plumbing businesses, D & D Plumbing and Homework Services. In his later years, he built several homes on Lake Wawasee. Dan will be remembered for his creativity and wonderful sense of humor. He was always the life of the party. Most of all, Dan loved spending time at the lake with his entire family, especially his grandchildren. He is also survived by his wife of 49 years, Deb Alford of Roanoke, IN; daughters, Danya (Mark) Renner of Craigville, IN; Jamie (Zane) Pine of Markle, IN, and Valerie (Chris) Petrie of Markle, IN; "Pa" had six grandchildren, Brandon, Brock, Brooklynn, Easton, Caiden, and Hudson; siblings, Kay (Kurt) Ullman of Bonita Springs, FL and Donnie Alford of Markle, IN. Memorial Service is 6:00 pm, Thursday, June 24, 2021 at Cornerstone Alliance Church, 5833 E. 900 W., Roanoke, IN 46783 with calling two hours prior beginning at 4:00 pm.
