Curtis "Curt" Joe Lesh, 76, passed away on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at his home surrounded by his family. Born in Wolf Lake, Indiana, Curt was a son of the late Brooks and Lois (Reber) Lesh. Curt graduated from North Side High School, class of 1966. Curt served our country proudly while he was in the U.S. Army, earning the rank of Sergeant. He was a lifelong car salesman for several companies including his own car lots throughout his working years. His social personality, and his ability to build repour with people led him to sell cars almost in any casual or formal conversation. He enjoyed golfing and bowling as well as spending time growing fruits, vegetables, and peppers in his garden so he could give to others to enjoy. One of his favorite things to do was eating ice cream especially with his grandchildren. Curt was a member of American Legon Post #47 and a regular at Laycoff's Bar. Surviving are his wife of 38 years, Kristy Lesh; sons, Matthew (Cornelia) Lesh, Nathan (Gina) Lesh, Michael (Jessica) Cummins; grandchildren, Matthew Cummins, Nathan Lesh, Greta Lesh, Scarlet Lesh, Abigail Cummins, Lucy Lesh, Steven Cummins; great-granddaughter, Cora Cummins and his brother, Brooks "Skip" (Joyce) Lesh. Curt was preceded in death by his siblings, Jack Lesh and Bonnie Askins. Service is 4 pm, Monday, February 24, 2025, at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N.
