Obituary

Curtis Carleton Beecher, age 69, passed away on Monday, July 21, 2025, in Fort Wayne, IN. Born in Fort Wayne to the late Arthur and Nancy Beecher, Curtis proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.

He worked as a calibration technician with Magnavox and later ITT. Curtis was an avid cyclist, often riding more than 50 miles on weekends. He also enjoyed golfing and had a passion for sports, especially watching NFL games and Formula One races, sometimes traveling to attend live events.

Curtis will be remembered for his generosity and the deep affection he had for his family, particularly his nieces and nephews. He is survived by his siblings Christine (Dennis) Lloyd, Claire Beecher, and Paul Beecher; three nieces, one nephew; two great-nieces; and six great-nephews.

He was also preceded in death by his step-mother, Esther Beecher
