Craig Anthony Stephens, 61, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2026. He was born to Betty Switzer in Fort Wayne on January 13, 1965. He was raised by his mother and stepfather, William Switzer. Craig graduated from Northrop High School after returning to finish his diploma in 1986. Craig worked over two decades as both a forklift operator and a truck driver for the Teamsters union. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, going to the shooting range, going for bike rides, and spending time with friends and family. He is remembered for his friendly, humorous personality and his generosity in sharing what he had with others.

Craig is survived by his sons, Jared (Ashley) Stephens and August (Maria) Stephens; his sisters, Deborah (Lewis) McCulloch, Cynthia Zanjanchian, Mary (Ron) Huis and Gloria (Michael) Peters; and his grandchildren, Victoria, Alexander, Santana, and Gideon. He was preceded in death by his step-father, his mother, his brother Joseph Stephens, and his sister Jacqueline Ray.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 30th, 2026 at 3:00 pm with visitation two hours prior at Fairhaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services (6557 N. Clinton Street, Fort Wayne, IN 46825).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Nongame Wildlife Fund.
