Cordelia D. Davis, age 56, of Fort Wayne passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at her home. She was born in Bessemer, AL to the late Robert Hope and Dorothy Taylor, who survives and she graduated from Hueytown High School. She later graduated from Miles College (Alabama) where she was active in the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority. Cordelia worked as a District Manager for the Social Security Administration. She is survived by her daughter, Kalah Davis-Brown of New Haven, IN; siblings, Andre (Gwendolyn) Hope, Franklin Alexander, and Derrick Pankins; uncles, Roger Davis and George (Angie) King; and aunts, Brenda (Ewern) Chaney, Barbara Holmes, and Leslie Davis. Cordelia was also preceded in death by her brother, Robert "Skip" Lee Davis; and mentor, Reola Strozier. Service is 1:30 pm, Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at Fairhaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton St. with calling beginning at 12:00 pm. Burial at I.O.O.F. Cemetery of New Haven, IN.
