Constance "Connie' Wade 80, of Fort Wayne passed away June 24, 2016 at her home with her family by her side. Connie was born On April 15, 1936 to John Dufon Sr. and Genevieve Dufon in Muskegon, Michigan.
Connie Graduated from Mercy Central School of Nursing with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing. She retired in 1989 from Parkview Hospital South Unit where she helped many people with addiction. She was an avid sponser in Alcoholics Anonymous. She also enjoyed crocheting afghans, gardening, spending time with her grandchildren and traveling. She is survived by two sons Jeffery Wade (OK), Gregory (Laura) Wade (TN); three daughters, Julie (Timothy) Paul (Ft.Wayne), Jennifer (Craig) Schneider (Columbia City,IN) and Amy Wade (Ft.Wayne); also surviving are one brother John J. Dufon, Jr; twelve Grandchildren and six great Grandchildren.
She was preceding in death by her parents John and Genevieve Dufon, her husband Ivan Wade Jr. and two sisters Mary Ann Franckowiak and Evelyn Emerson.
Calling hours will be Saturday July 2, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at FairHaven Funeral Home 6557 N. Clinton St. Fort Wayne, IN; A memorial service will be held July 2, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at FairHaven funeral home 6557 N. Clinton St. Fort Wayne, IN
