Connie Faye (Emler) Wood, passed away peacefully Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family. Born August 3, 1951 in Licking County, Ohio. Connie was a daughter of the late John and Janice Emler. Connie had a generous and loving personality. Christmas time was her favorite time of year and her family was her main priority. Surviving are her husband of 46 years, Robert "Bob" Wood; daughters, Tracy (Marcus) Graber of Grabill, Bobbie (Dennis) Huffman, Megan (Steve) Bell, both of Fort Wayne; special grandchildren, Walker, Brady, Becka, Brooks, Maggie, Cody; beloved sister and best friend, Merri Ann (Bruce) Byers of Newark, Ohio; along with five other siblings all from Ohio. Connie was preceded in death by a sister; brother, and her great-grandson, Parker Sorg. Service is 11 am, Friday, October 15, 2021 at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton Street, with calling one hour prior. Memorials may be made to the Shriner's Hospital for Children.
