CONNIE LOU GARBER, 72, of Fort Wayne died Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at Lutheran Hospital. Connie was born in Fort Wayne March 24, 1945 to the late Edgar and Vera (Hockemeyer) Bauermeister.

She retired from the Lincoln Financial Group after 27 years of service. Connie was a member of Our Hope Lutheran Church in Huntertown and she was a past member of Trinity Lutheran Church and its Altar Guild.

Surviving are her husband of 50 years, Lee Garber of Fort Wayne; daughter, Michele (Jason Stack) Garber of Florissant, MO; and son, David Garber of Fort Wayne. Preceded in death by sister, Janice Grim.

Funeral service is 5 P.M. Monday, May 29, 2017 at Our Hope Lutheran Church 1826 Trinity Drive Huntertown with Rev. Joe Fichtner officiating. Visitation is from 2 P.M.to 4 P.M. and 5 P.M. to 7 P.M. Sunday, May 28, 2017 at Fairhaven Funeral Home 6557 North Clinton Street and from 4 P.M. until time of service Monday at the church.

Burial will be in Lindenwood Cemetery with the funeral procession forming at 10 A.M. Tuesday at Our Hope Lutheran Church. Memorial donations may be made to Our Hope Lutheran Church or the A.S.P.C.A.
