Colby Barker, age 85, passed away July 11, 2026, in Fort Wayne, IN. Colby was born in Lexington, KY, to Curt and Lida Barker and grew up in a large family of fourteen children.

Colby proudly served his country as a member of the US Navy during the Vietnam War. After serving in the Navy, he returned to Fort Wayne and worked 30 years at Magnavox.

He was an avid golfer, a man of deep faith, humorous, and loved reading.

Colby is survived by his daughter, Kyla Barker; family friend, Conra Faor; and caretaker, Donna Harris Hanks.

Service is 12:30 pm, Thursday, July 16, 2026, at Fairhaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton St., with calling beginning at 11:00 am. Burial at Highland Park Cemetery to follow.
