Clara Lou Glackin, 95, passed away on Sunday, August 6, 2023. She was born on November 4, 1927 a daughter of the late Harold and Mary Curtis. Clara graduated from North Side High School. A group of her peers gathered each month for a pinochle card club for 70 years. During her earlier years, Clara was an executive secretary for North American Van Lines. Clara absolutely treasured and loved being a wife, mother, and grandmother to her family. She had an amazing sense of humor and loved animals. Surviving are her children, Pamela Glackin-Messman, Mike (Sharon) Glackin; grandchildren, Nathaniel (Abbie) Glackin, Felica (Charles) Kennard, Kriston Messman, Karon (Bill) Glaze; 9 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Clara was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Glackin; siblings, Verlin and Lois Ann Curtis. Service is 2 pm, Saturday, August 12, 2023 at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N.
