Christos Pentsos, age 74, of Fort Wayne passed away peacefully Saturday, February 26, 2022 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Polikerasos, Greece to the late Petros and Fani Pentsios. He came to the United States in 1970 and held various positions in the Fort Wayne area. Christos was a member of St. Nicholas Orthodox Cathedral. He is survived by his wife, Dina Pentsos of Fort Wayne; children, Peter (Cynthia Zhang) Pentsos of Fishers, IN, Nick (Betty McKinney) Pentsos of Fort Wayne, and Christina Pentsos of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Alexandria and Ashley; siblings, Stanley (Joanne) Pentsos of Oregon, OH, and Marika Sarakinis of Fort Wayne. Christos was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Jimmy Sarakinis. Service is 11:00 am, Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at St. Nicholas Orthodox Cathedral, 3535 Crescent Ave., with calling one hour prior and entry prayers at 9:45 am. Calling also 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at Fairhaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton St., with a Trisagion Prayer Service at 7:00 pm. Burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to St. Nicholas Orthodox Cathedral. Fairhaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services are handling the arrangements.
