Obituary

Christopher Andre Starks, 55, passed away on Monday, August 28, 2023. Born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Christopher was the son of James E. Starks and the late Jonnie (Brown) Starks. He was baptized as a young man at Friendship Baptist Church. Christopher graduated from Northrop High School and earned his bachelors degree from Indiana University in General Studies. During his working years, Christopher was a truck driver and worked for the Indianapolis School System helping those in special education. Christopher served as a High School track coach for several years. He enjoyed watching football and basketball, and spending time with friends and his family was a main priority. Surviving are his father, James; son, Christopher Starks; along with a host of aunts, uncles and extended family members. Service will be noon on Saturday, September 9, 2023 at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton Street, with calling one hour prior. Burial in Highland Park Cemetery, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
