Christopher V. Litchin passed away suddenly on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 in Fort Wayne.  He was born to the late Vasil and Ephroidita Litchin in Fort Wayne on April 21, 1938.  He had two older siblings, Nicholas V. Litchin and Helen (Litchin) Mitson, who also preceded him in death.

Chris married Sandra Strezoff in July of 1963 in Fort Wayne and preceded him in death in May 1994.  Together they had three amazing children, Thomas Litchin, Michael Litchin both of Fort Wayne, and Kristen (Mark) Wilson of Hendersonville, TN;  two wonderful grandchildren, Alyssa Wilson and Alexander Wilson; and several nieces and nephews who he loved very much.

Chris was a partner at Fort Wayne's Famous Coney Island from 1965-2013.  In 1966, he opened Mister Coney on Coldwater Rd and his son, Tom still operates Mister Coney today. Chris enjoyed reading books and watching I.U. sports, politics, and watching Fox News.

At Christopher's request, there will be a private family service with entombment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.  In lieu of flowers, memorials in Christopher's honor may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.  To sign the online guestbook, go to www.fairhavenfortwayne.com
