Obituary

Christine K. Chlon, 73, of Fort Wayne, went Home to the Lord on Thursday, June 19, 2025. She was born in Wheeling, WV to the late Ralph and Mary (Smila) Krasevec on August 2, 1951. She married Christopher Chlon on June 28, 1975. Christine retired from Target.

Christine is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Christopher Chlon; son, Matthew Chlon; daughter, Nicole (Jonathan) nee Chlon Sours; grandchildren, Myla, Emma and Colten; siblings, Ralph Krasevec, Mary Ann Tracy, and Rosalie McSwain; and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Helena nee Krasevec Busacca; brother, Joseph Krasevec and niece, Lynn Ann Krasevec.

Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday, July 1, 2025 at 11:00 am with visitation one hour prior at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (4500 Fairfield Ave, Fort Wayne, IN 46807). Visitation will also be on Monday, June 30, 2025 at Fairhaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services (6557 N. Clinton Street, Fort Wayne, IN 46825) from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm with a rosary service immediately following visitation.
