Christa Kay Schnee, age 48, of Fort Wayne passed away Friday, February 11, 2022. She was born in Bowling Green, OH to Dean and Barbara Dawson, who survive of McClure, OH. Christa graduated from the Ohio Institute of Photography and Technology and worked as a pre-school teacher's aide primarily with special needs children. She enjoyed playing in local area softball leagues and spending time with her family and her St. Bernard's, Duke and Amelia. Christa is also survived by her son, Evan Schnee of Fort Wayne, IN; brother, Jeff (Michelle) Dawson or Walbridge, OH; and significant other, Matt Weimer of Fort Wayne. Service is 3:00 pm, Monday, February 21, 2022 at Fairhaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton St. with calling two hours prior beginning at 1:00 pm.
