Cheryl Elaine Adams, 72, of Roanoke, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, December 7, 2023. Cheryl was born on October 2, 1951 to the late Wayne and Wanda Avery in Dearborn, Michigan. After Cheryl graduated from Taylor Center High School in 1969, she went on to marry her loving late husband Jim Adams on August 14, 1970. Cheryl and Jim went on to have two children, Sherry (Rob) Swanson and Brian (Theresa) Adams. Proud grandmother to Rob (Leah) Swanson, Gavin (Alexa) Swanson, Kolby (Malik) Wirges, Brian Adams, and James Adams. Proud Gigi to Kopelei, Krew, and Emery. She lived a life full of love for the Lord, her family, and friends. Cheryl had a heart of gold and made a lasting impact on all those around her. She was generous, caring, and so much fun to be around. To know her was to love her. She will be dearly missed. Cheryl's legacy will be remembered in those she loved. Even after her passing she impacted others by being a donor and saving three lives. Cheryl is forever in our hearts. Service will be 11 am Saturday, December 16, 2023 at The Chapel, 2505 W. Hamilton Road S. Fort Wayne, Indiana 46814, with visitation from 9 am until the service.
