Cheri Ann Walda, age 74, of Leo, IN passed away Thursday, March 10, 2022 in Fort Wayne. She was born in Hillsdale, MI to the late Robert Novak and Iva Novak Niemeyer and a graduate of Concordia High School. Cheri worked over 20 years as an advocate for medical benefits with Indiana Medical Associates. She was a faithful member of Concordia Lutheran Church and will be remembered as a loving sister who will be greatly missed. Cheri is survived by her siblings, Gary (Judy) Novak of Fremont, IN, Joy (Jim) Jackson of Cape Coral, FL, and Mark (Mary) Novak of Fort Wayne, IN; many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Vicky Ostermeyer. Fairhaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services are handling the arrangements.
