Charles Mackey, 69, passed away on Tuesday, May 31, 2022. Born in Portsmouth, VA, Charles was a son of the late Joseph Mackey Sr., and Maryetta (Goldwire) Mackey. Charles attended Fort Wayne Bible College. During his working years, Charles was a radio broadcaster for several companies prior to his time at Brotherhood Mutual. Surviving are his siblings, Shirley Hicks, Juan Mackey, Medallia Mackey, Douglas Mackey; along with many nieces and nephews. Service is 3 pm, Thursday, June 23, 2022 at The Pointe Church, 5535 Bass Road, with calling from 1 pm until the service. There will be a private burial at Concordia Cemetery Gardens, Fort Wayne. Memorials may be made to The Pointe Church. FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services is handling arrangements.
