Charles W. Davis, Jr., 77, of Fort Wayne, went home to glory on July 7, 2021 at his home. Born in Napoleon, OH on January 5, 1944, he was a son of the late Charles W. Davis, Sr. and Doris Davis. He graduated with a B.A. in chemistry from Adrian College. Charles worked for the DuPont Company in Iowa and then was the owner and worker at Dunhill of Fort Wayne, a recruiting agency. He was a faithful charter member of the Covenant United Methodist Church where he enjoyed the fellowship of many friends. Charlie was also a member of the St. Joe Conservation Club where he truly loved the shooting and also enjoyed his friends. He will be missed by his friends. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Judy Davis. They were married April 9, 1966 at the Pine Grove Mennonite Church near Stryker, OH. Charlie is also survived by his son, Jeffrey (Lyndsay) Davis; grandchildren, Hunter, Kennedy, and Zoe who he loved dearly; and brother, Robert (Sally) Davis. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Terri Marie Davis; and a brother. Service is 1:00 pm, Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at Covenant United Methodist Church, 10001 Coldwater Rd, with calling three hours prior beginning at 10:00 am. The funeral will be officiated by Pastor Chris Nunley and Pastor Christi Murray. Burial at Highland Park Cemetery with a luncheon to follow at the church.
