Charles P. Barrett, 73, of Leo, passed away on Sunday, November 9th, 2025. He was born to the late Raymond and Barbara Barrett in Fort Wayne. After high school, Charles served in the United States Marine Corp. for 4 years.
Charles retired from Cooper Standard as an industrial mechanic.
He enjoyed woodworking, and most recently collecting coins as a hobby. Charles was a member of the American Legion Post 409.
Charles is survived by his wife of 48 years, Cheryl Barrett; children, Nicholas Barrett, Laura Bowers, Amy Barrett, and Ashley (Atish) Singh; 5 grandchildren; siblings, Mike (Marie) Barrett, Mary (Mike) Reuille, John (Cheryl) Barrett, Sue (John) Bone, Terry Barrett, Tim (Mary) Barrett, Sara Deitrick, and Phillip Barrett.
He was preceded in death by his grand-daughter, Stella Bowers, siblings, Kay Huguenard, Chris Lohr, and Raymond Barrett.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 13, 2025 at 3:00pm with visitation beginning two hours prior at 1:00 pm at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton St. Preferred memorials may be directed to Honor Flight of North East Indiana.
