Obituary

Charles Baker, 77, of Fort Wayne, passed away Thursday, October 7, 2021 at his home. He was born in Hyden, KY and was the son to the late, Bentley Cox and Margaret Baker. Charles worked as a machine operator for Kunkle Valve and also as a self contractor and a truck driver. He enjoyed camping, sight-seeing, and most of all spending time with his family at the lake and around the swimming pool. He is survived by his wife, Carol Baker; daughters, Cindy Baker, Lisa Baker, Rhonda Lehman, and Leslie Herbst; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; siblings, Donald (Diane) Cox, Peggy (Jeff) Ehrsam, Alice Eytcheson, Gloria Cox, and Ella Cox; brothers-in-law, Ron (Linda) Prasuhn, Bill (Jean) Prasuhn, and Carl Prasuhn; and his beloved dog, Bear. Service is 1:00 pm, Thursday, October 14, 2021 at Fairhaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton St., with calling two hours prior beginning at 11:00 am.
