Catherine Louise "Cathy" Payne, 77, passed away Friday, September 17, 2021 at Dupont Hospital. Born in Anderson, Indiana, Cathy was the daughter of the late Robert Bowers Moore and Helen Louise (Watson) Moore of Anderson, IN. She earned her bachelor degree from Fort Wayne Business College. She worked as an administrative assistant for many years at Central Soya, prior to her retirement. Cathy was passionate, kind, generous and loved the Lord as an active member of Life Bridge Church. She loved spending time with her husband David and taking care of their property. She enjoyed going to her god-children's sporting, and school events, and spending time with her family and friends. Surviving, are her husband of 53 years, David Payne; sisters, Marilynn (Ralph)Toliver of Dayton TN, and Sandra (Robert) Vance of Alexandria, IN; nephew, Jeremy Toliver; nieces Bethany Toliver Peckler and Judith Odor, several grand nephews and nieces; god children, Preston, Gabrielle, Olivia and Megan Kindler. She was preceded in death by nephew Douglas Lee Roof of Alexandria, IN. Service is 11 am, Friday, September 24, 2021 at Life Bridge Church, 12719 Corbin Road, with calling one hour prior. Calling also Thursday, September 23, 2021 from 5 pm to 8 pm at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton Street. Memorials may be made to Life Bridge Church.
