Obituary

Catharine Ruth Kile, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2025, at the age of 65, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Born on November 15, 1958, Catharine was a vibrant spirit whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of all who knew her.

Catharine is survived by her devoted husband, Brian J. Kile, and their three cherished children: Kevan F. Kile of Fort Wayne, Mary Elizabeth C. Morgan of Markle, and Carolyn R. Deverell of Fort Wayne. She was a proud grandmother to Henry D. and Alice J. Morgan, who brought her immense joy and laughter. Catharine's love for her family was boundless, and she dedicated her life to nurturing and supporting them.

She is also survived by her loving siblings, Anna, Nina, and Roberta, who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts. Catharine was preceded in death by her parents, Ruth (Mullen) and Clarence Rott, who instilled in her the values of compassion and resilience that she carried throughout her life.

Catharine was known for her infectious smile and her ability to light up any room. She had a passion for gardening, often spending hours tending to her vegetables and sharing the beauty of nature with her family and friends. Her love for cooking brought everyone together, as she delighted in preparing meals that created lasting memories around the dinner table.

A devoted friend and community member, Catharine was always ready to lend a helping hand or offer a listening ear. Her spirit of generosity and kindness will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A celebration of Catharine's life will be held at Metea Park Sunday, April 27, 2025 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. where family and friends will gather to honor her memory and share stories of the love and joy she brought into their lives. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Catharine's name, reflecting her lifelong commitment to helping others.

Catharine Ruth Kile will be deeply missed but will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends. Her legacy of love, kindness, and strength will continue to inspire those she leaves behind.
