Carolyn Ilene Whitman, 89, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, October 11, 2026, at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Kimmell, Indiana, Carolyn was a daughter of the late Rev. Claude and Dora (Halsey) Lawson. She married the love of her life, Earl Whitman, on February 25, 1956. Above all, Carolyn dearly loved her family, and her faith, kindness, and devotion to those she loved were an important part of who she was.
