Obituary
Carol Marie Wagner, 71, of Fort Wayne, went Home to the Lord on Thursday, November 13, 2025 at home. She was born on October 1, 1954 to the late Eugene W. and Alice Louise (Hunt) Gee in Defiance, OH. She graduated from Defiance High School, Northwest Tech and had Wilton Cake Decorating Certification. On October 7, 1978 she married the late Michael Wagner.
Carol was a faithful member of Bethel Christian Church in Arthur, OH and New Heights Baptist Church in Fort Wayne. She loved the Lord, being a grandma, family, crafts, sewing, cake decorating, butterflies, cardinals, Mackinaw Island, and singing. Carol loved to teach crafts and cake decorating.
Carol is survived by her daughter, Aimee (Anthony) Bell of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Shawn Martinez, Axel and Alexis Bell; sister, Elaine (Dan) Stewart of Tulsa, OK; nieces and nephews, Kristi (David) Morgan, Joshua (Lindsay) Brackett, Vanessa (Phillip) Reed, Elijah (Kaleb) Brackett, and Caleb Stewart; and a host of relatives and friends. Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, James Gee.
Funeral service will be on Saturday, November 22, 2025 at 10:00 am at Bethel Christian Church in Arthur, OH with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will be on Thursday, November 20, 2025 at Fairhaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services (6557 N. Clinton Street, Fort Wayne, IN 46825) from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Burial will take place at Riverview Memory Gardens in Defiance, OH.
Memorial contributions may be made to Bethel Christian Church in Arthur, OH.
