Carol Salge, 66, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Saturday, June 27, 2026. She was born in Fort Wayne on September 10, 1959. Carol was employed by Wellspring Social Services for 32 years as Director of Neighborhood Services. She was active with the West Central Neighborhood Association and served on the Christmas Bureau Board of Directors. Carol enjoyed crafting, animals, and gardening. She was a member and active volunteer of Emmanuel Lutheran Church. Carol had a big caring heart and always donated to those in need.

Carol is survived by her many loving cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Doris Louise Salge.

Funeral service will be on Monday, July 6, 2026 at 11:00 am at Emmanuel Lutheran Church (917 W Jefferson Blvd, Fort Wayne, IN 46802) with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will also be on Sunday, July 5, 2026 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Fairhaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services (6557 N. Clinton Street, Fort Wayne, IN 46825).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Humane Fort Wayne and Animal Care and Control.
