Carol Ann (Klopfenstein) Kummer, 78, passed away Thursday, July 13, 2023. Born in Evanston, Illinois, Carol was a daughter of the late Robert and Helen Klopfenstein. She worked for Barrett McNagny as a secretary for many years prior to her retirement. Carol enjoyed finding pleasure in the simple things in life, her family. Surviving are her son, Kevin (Lyndi) Kummer; siblings, Alan (Pam) Klopfenstein of Ft. Myers, FL, Marcia (Tim) Martin, and Mary (Michael) Welsh both of Carmel. Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Terry Kummer. Service is 3 pm, Monday, July 17, 2023 at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton Street, with calling from 1 pm until the services. Memorials may be made to Cancer Services of NE Indiana or Heart to Heart Hospice.
