Carol L. Fretz, age 81, passed away September 23, 2024 in Fort Wayne. Carol was born in Columbus, OH to the late Robert and Violet Kuhn.
Carol's professional journey included her role as a registered nurse in the psychiatric department at Twin Valley Health in Dayton, OH. She was an active member of the Alley Kats Tap Dance Group, a volunteer at Dupont Hospital, and assisted her husband in line-dance instructing. She also attended Harvest Fellowship.
She was the devoted wife of Philip Fretz for 49 years; and a loving mother to Philip Fretz II, Elizabeth Fretz, and Jeffrey (Tina) Wiltsee. Carol was a cherished grandmother to Matthew (Kassidy) Fretz, Aaron (Rebecca) Fretz, Lydia (Dylan) Gulley, Micah (Riley Summers) Fretz, Obadiah Wiltsee, and Enoch Wiltsee, and a proud great-grandmother to Paisley, Lakeland, Tucker, and Barrett. She was also a dear sister to Robert (Kathy) Kuhn.
Carol's unwavering faith in God and her resilient spirit were an inspiration to all who knew her. She will be remembered for her steadfast dedication to her family, friends, and her faith.
Services are 10:30am, Saturday, September 28, 2024 at Fairhaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton St., with calling one hour prior. Calling also 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm on Friday, September 27, 2024 at the funeral home. Burial at Eel River Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Harvest Fellowship.
