Carol Ann Crawford, age 84, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away peacefully at her home on July 7, 2026, surrounded by her family. She was born in Fort Wayne to the late Donald and Mary Jenkins.

Ann worked in customer service for ProFed and was known for her willingness to do any job asked of her. She was an active member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 47 and volunteered with the Parkview Center for Healthy Living. She loved reading as it added richness to her life.

Ann enjoyed traveling to Canada, and after retiring, she cherished her time in Florida with her husband and friends. Most of all, she treasured the moments spent with her granddaughters and often joked, “If I knew granddaughters were this much fun, I would have had them first!”

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Gary Crawford; children, Mitch (Cassandra) Crawford and Marla Rubin; four granddaughters, Paige, Audrey, Mason, and Rilynn; and several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her two brothers, Bob Jenkins and Dan Jenkins.

A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 pm on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at Fairhaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton St., with calling two hours prior, beginning at 1:00 pm. Memorials may be made to the Breakthrough T1D (formerly Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
