Carol A. Bergmeier, 75, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus, on Friday, December 17, 2021. Born in Xenia, Ohio, Carol was a daughter of the late Harold and Carrie Roderick. Carol graduated from North Side High School, class of 1964 and earned her bachelors degree from Grace College. She was an English and Literature Teacher with Lakewood Park Christian School for 31 years, prior to her retirement. Carol was an avid supporter of Solid Rock Bible Camp in Alaska. She loved being with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed playing cards, games, and anyone who knew her knows… she loved to talk. Surviving are her husband of 54 years, Gary Bergmeier; children, Jennifer Bergmeier, Thad (Monique) Bergmeier; grandchildren, Karsten, Faith, Jackson, Hannah, Annika, Josh; siblings, Mike (Suzanne) Roderick, Judy Roderick, Nancy Hansen; half siblings, Jerry (Sue) Roderick, and Andy (Sandy) Grey. Service is 10:30 am, Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at Headwaters Church, 2000 N. Wells, with calling one hour prior. Calling also at the church on Monday, December 20, 2021 from 3 pm to 8 pm. Memorials may be made to Lakewood Park Christian School or Solid Rock Bible Camp. FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services is handling arrangements.
