Bakari was an entrepreneur and master barber, owning several businesses including a barber shop in Atlanta, GA. He is survived by his mother, Juanita Williams of Fort Wayne; father, Cumby James Walton of Fort Wayne; children, Bakari Zaci Walton of Fort Wayne and Laila Thurman of Atlanta, GA; siblings, Aisha (Larry) White of Fort Wayne, Andrea Walton of Fort Wayne, Jeanette (James) McNeal of Peoria, AZ, and Jimmy (Michelle) Williams Jr. of Fort Wayne. Service is 11:00 am, Saturday, May 8, 2021 at True Love Missionary Baptist Church, 715 E. Wallace St., with calling one hour prior. Burial at Concordia Cemetery Gardens of Fort Wayne.
