Brenda Ann Schamber, 81, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on Friday, January 21, 2022. Born on a farm in Whittemore, Iowa, Brenda was a daughter of the late Lorenz and June Gade. Brenda earned her Bachelor's Degree in Education from Concordia Seward. She served the Lord as a teacher, a librarian, and an administrative assistant across Lutheran schools, seminary, and TV ministry Worship Anew. Surviving are her husband, John Schamber; children, Steven (Elaine) Schamber, Sharon (Jim) Connick; grandchildren, David, Peter, Sara, Abigail; 4 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Rachel (Del) Jentz and Paul (Kathy) Gade. Brenda was preceded in death by her brother David Gade. Service is 5:30 pm, Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church with calling one hour prior. Burial will be in Concordia Cemetery Gardens, Fort Wayne, Indiana. Memorials may be made to Worship Anew. FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services is handling arrangements.
