Boyd M. Tarney, 78, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Friday, November 14, 2025. Boyd was a Marine Veteran and a mechanic at NIPSCO. Boyd was an avid outdoorsman, world traveler, sports fan, and golfer.

Boyd was the son of the late Marshall O. and Hattie Mae (Magill) Tarney. Boyd is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Kathryn (Carroll) Tarney; children, Joseph (Tricia) Tarney, Angela (David) LeShore, Jared (Irina) Tarney; grandchildren, Colin and Grady, Alec and Avery LeShore, and Addison and Emma.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. with visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church (4916 Trier Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46815). A reception will follow at Fort Wayne Turners (3636 Parnell Ave, Fort Wayne, IN 46805).
