Bonnie Jean Anderson Wyss, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Thursday, January 29, 2026. She was born to the late Bennett Omar and Garnet (Grossnickle) Anderson in Van Wert, OH on May 11, 1943. She graduated from Huntington High School and IPFW. Bonnie taught at Carroll High School for over 30 years as an AP English Teacher. Bonnie loved traveling and was always on the go. Bonnie especially loved Key West and the UP. Later in life she became a yoga enthusiast and established her band of yoga peeps who also started a book club. Bonnie was incredibly talented with journaling, sketching and water painting. For the Allen County Public Library, she volunteered and recorded for their Audio Reading Services. Bonnie was a member of the Fort Wayne Ski Club for many years.

Bonnie is survived by her loving husband of 45 in total and 35 years of marriage; Stephen Wyss; sons, David Alan (Mary) Yates of Key West, FL and Dallas Fred (Cyndi Hayes) Yates of Cape Coral, FL; siblings, Kay (Norm) Miller of Burleson, Texas and Jim (Carol) Anderson of Huntington, IN; and a wide circle of friends.

A Celebration of Life will be at a later date.
