Bonnie Jean Kees, age 89, of Fort Wayne passed away Friday, March 11, 2022. She was born in Harlan, IN to the late Nicholas and Frances Nusbaum and was a graduate of Harlan High School. Bonnie worked in accounting for Classic Products for many years, but her most loved occupation was being a mom and grandma. She loved tending to her flowers, sending greeting cards, watching IU basketball, and attending her grandchildren's activities. In her earlier years, she enjoyed being active in Harlan Days and playing cards in her pinochle club. Bonnie is survived by her daughters, Vickie Stump, Diane (Roger) Delagrange, Marcia (Mike) Hammond, Karen (Brent) Wells; son, Brad (Jackie) Kees; nine grandchildren, Holly (John) Lemler, Andrew (Rachel) Stump, Ryan (Danielle Wies) Delagrange, Jason Hammond, Stacy (Tony) Girod, Brandon (Lindsey) Wells, Grant Delagrange, Kelly (Blaklyn) Evans, and Ashley Kees; ten great-grandchildren; siblings, Weldon Nusbaum and Linda (Fritz) Kuhn. She was preceded in death by her brother, Donald Nusbaum; and sister-in-law, Luconda Nusbaum. Service is 1:00 pm, Thursday, March 17, 2022 at Fairhaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton St. with calling one hour prior. Calling also 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at the funeral home. Burial at Scipio Cemetery of Harlan, IN.
