Bobby Ray "Bob" Compton, 56, passed away Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at Parkview Randallia Hospital. Born in Columbia, Tennessee, Bob was the son of the late Robert and Ruby Compton. Bob served our country as a U.S. Army veteran. He was a nursing home administrator for several companies for over 20 years. Bob enjoyed riding his motorcycle, playing guitar, but nothing was more important than his family, especially his grandchildren. Surviving are his daughters, Nicole Chapman, Rachael Compton; grandchildren, Ruby and Mason Chapman, Patrick Conley; and his brother, Marty (Cassie) Compton. Service is 2 pm, Sunday, September 12, 2021 at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 7710 E. State Blvd, with calling one hour prior. A Celebration of Bob's Life with food and fellowship will take place at Fort Wayne Turners immediately following the service. Memorials may be made to Cancer Services of NE Indiana.
