A Joyful Celebration of Life

Bobby Black III

June 2, 2025 – June 12, 2025

"Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you…" Jeremiah 1:5 With hearts full of love, gratitude, and unwavering faith, we celebrate the life and heavenly homegoing of our beloved son and gift from God, Bobby Black III. Born on June 2, 2025, and baptized into the body of Christ on June 12, 2025, Bobby completed his perfect assignment on Earth that same day and entered into the eternal joy and presence of the Lord. His baptism was a sacred moment—one that sealed his place with the Father and assured us that his name is written in Heaven. We rejoice in knowing he now rests in perfect peace, cradled in the arms of his Creator. Though his time with us was brief, Bobby's presence was powerful. From the moment he arrived, he brought with him a quiet strength, a sweet and watchful spirit, and a light that radiated God's love. He was surrounded by prayer, wrapped in love, and treasured deeply by the family who saw him as the blessing he truly was. Bobby's life was a living testimony to God's grace. With a gentle soul and a heart full of peace, he reminded us of divine promises, pure love, and the beauty found in even the smallest moments. Though tiny in form, his purpose was mighty—and he fulfilled it completely.

Bobby is the cherished son of Bobby Black Jr. and Tamia Black, and the adored brother of Kairo Parrish, Braylei Black, and his twin, Boston Black. He is lovingly remembered by his aunts: Jayla Sanders, Bellamy Johnson, Genesis Johnson, Ashley Black, LaTisha Benson, and Amarie Black; uncles: Quincy Rutledge Jr. and Terry Collins Jr.; a host of cousins and his proud grandparents: Terry Collins Sr., LaToya Johnson(Ben Johnson), Bobby Black Sr., and Tonitra Black. He is now embraced in Heaven by his great grandparents who went before him—Michael Latham Sr., Brenda Clark, and Walter Martin—who welcomed him home with open arms and overflowing joy. Bobby Black III—a life made of love, a soul sealed in grace, a light that lives on. We do not mourn with sorrow, but celebrate with praise. Bobby was prayed for, deeply loved, joyfully baptized, and is now made whole in the presence of Jesus. He only ever knew love—and now, he knows glory. "Jesus said, 'Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these.'" – Matthew 19:14

"A Whisper from Heaven" I came into the world so small, Yet loved beyond compare. A precious soul on Heaven's call, Wrapped in tender care. You held me close, you spoke my name, You kissed my little face. And though I couldn't stay for long, I felt your warm embrace. God called me home, my race was run, A light too bright to dim. But I am whole, I am alive— I'm safe at home with Him. Prayer Heavenly Father, We thank You for the life of Bobby Black III—so brief, yet so powerful. We rejoice that he is in Your eternal presence, where there is no pain, only peace. Thank You for entrusting him to us, if only for a moment. May his spirit continue to live on in every smile, every act of love, and every prayer we lift. Wrap us, and all who loved him in Your comfort, and remind us that this is not the end—only a pause until we meet again. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
