Robert "Bob" Polston, age 65, passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2024, in Fort Wayne. He was born in Fort Wayne, IN to the late Richard and Margaret Polston. Robert was a bright man of many talents. He spent many years as a financial advisor for Ameriprise, volunteered as a firefighter, wrote several books, and cared for young people as a houseparent. Above all his accomplishments, he was most importantly a kind, and compassionate servant. He would drop anything to help someone in need and would make others feel like he was reading their minds simply by how well he listened. Robert is survived by his beloved wife of 42 years, Aggie Osterholt-Polston, and his special friend Alex Ramos. A visitation will be held, Friday, June 7, 2024, at Fairhaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services (6557 N. Clinton Street) from 4-7 pm. Memorials may be made to Community Harvest Food Bank.
