Billy Gene Mullins, 92, passed away Saturday, November 13, 2021, at Parkview Hospice Fort Wayne. Born in Dorton, Kentucky Billy was the son of the late Calvin and Cassie Mullins. Billy worked at Essex Wire for 20 years prior to purchasing Raricks TV Inc., which he owned and operated, with wife Reba for 27 years. He invested in gold mining operations in Mexico and in the Yukon and enjoyed taking trips to see them. Billy and Reba were blessed to be able to travel around the world together and make incredible memories. Billy was proud to be from the state of Kentucky and was an avid UK Basketball fan. He took pride in caring for his pool , pond and property and enjoyed hosting many family gatherings. He wanted to carry on his family traditions and enjoyed attending family reunions. Surviving are his wife, Reba Mullins; children Debbie (Mike) Nichols of Goodview, VA, Randy (Linda) Mullins of Ardmore, AL, Rhonda Anspach, and Mike (Marcie) Pifer, both of Fort Wayne, Terry (Janice) Mullins, of Brownsburg, IN, and Matt (Susan) Mullins of Fort Wayne; 20 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren, and 7 great great grandchildren; and sister, Julie (Stewart) Swink of Fort Wayne. Billy was preceded in death by his siblings, Ruby Calhoun, Thomas Mullins, Betty Amann, and Mary Simon. Service is 10:30 am, Thursday, November 18, 2021 at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services with calling one hour prior. Calling also Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at the funeral home from 6 pm to 8:30 pm. Burial in Lindenwood Cemetery, Fort Wayne, Indiana. Memorials may be made to Calvary Christian Fellowship Church.
