Obituary

Betty June Cotton, 73, of Fort Wayne passed away Saturday, December 11, 2021. She was born Richmond, IN and was the daughter of Othener Sweatt and Kattie Powers. Betty worked in home healthcare and also as a receptionist for Lutheran Hospital. She was a faithful member of Greater Progressive Baptist Church and formerly at Crusaders for Christ. She enjoyed puzzles and spending time with her family. Betty is survived by her children, Vanessa (Darnell) Hogue of Fort Wayne, and Malcolm Crawford of Fort Wayne; eight grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; three sisters and one brother. Service is 11:00 am, Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Greater Progressive Baptist Church, 2215 John St., with calling one hour prior. Burial in Highland Park Cemetery.
