Benson Osmon, Jr, age 85, of Fort Wayne passed away with family by his side August 22, 2023.  He was born in Plainville, IN to the late Benson and Sarah (Woolbright) Osmon.  Benson proudly served his country as a member of the U.S. Army.

He worked in the agricultural industry starting as a boy on his family farm in Daviess County, IN as well as feed sales, farm consulting and finance. His favorite things to do were spending time with his family, watching basketball, riding his Harley and waterskiing (in his younger days) and making people laugh. His joy for life was evident the moment you met him and is a special gift to those who knew him.

Benson is survived by his wife of 65 years and the love of his life, Toni Osmon;  daughters, Dana Cunegin and Robin (Eric) Steenman both of Fort Wayne;  six grandchildren, Farrah (Michael) Limmer, Whitley (Joshua) Snyder, Alyssa (Aaron) Walker, Abigail Steenman, Emily Steenman, and Gabriel Steenman;  nine great-grandchildren;  and one sister, Esther Damme of Marion, IN.  Service is 11:00 am, Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at Blackhawk Ministries, 7400 E. State Blvd., with calling two hours prior beginning at 9:00 am.  A graveside service is 1:00 pm, Saturday, September 2, 2023 at Sugarland Memorial Gardens, 4334 N.
